General rules

  • All the information on Bemushroomed is given for free and without any guarantee of accuracy. Use this information at your own risks.
  • You may not post any copyrighted, abusive or otherwise illegal content to the forums and mycobank, as defined in the laws of your country, the country where Bemushroomed is hosted or international law. Bemushroomed reserves the right to delete any content deemed inappropriate without warning, and to ban users who don't respect this rule. Also note that your IP address is collected by our software to help enforce this policy.
  • The website's usage rules may change from time to time. An announcement will be posted in the forum when this happens. The latest rules are always visible on the Mycobank > Rules page.

Mycobank rules

  • Psychoactive mushrooms are not allowed in the mycobank under any form (not even as spores). Bemushroomed's staff decides which species are considered active and forbidden on a case by case basis.
  • There is no guarantee that cultures you receive belong to the advertised species. Never eat the mushrooms or mycelium you grow if you can't identify their species with certitude!
  • You must review and follow your country's import regulations when ordering cultures from abroad. You should also pay attention not to let foreign species and strains escape into your local ecosystem.
  • You are kindly asked to multiply and redistribute all cultures you receive from the mycobank, whenever possible. If you give away or offer cultures of a named FDM strain for sale outside Bemushroomed, you should clearly state that this culture was received for free through Bemushroomed and present a link to its FDM strain page.
  • You must not share cultures on the mycobank if they are not freely redistributable (this includes patented strains and cultures bought from various vendors).
  • You are not allowed to make a profit by offering cultures in the mycobank. Money you receive from requesters can only cover preparation and shipping costs.
  • Bemushroomed does not guarantee that the strains it lists are suitable for commercial use (be it the sale of fruitbodies or cultures). Users should assess possible copyright issues associated with these strains by themselves.
  • Bemushroomed only helps its users get in contact with each other. We will not be held responsible for any difficulties encountered during your transactions.
